So I used artificial intelligence tools to scan the internet for posts that mention a scent that draws much more compliments than others.

The scan found hundreds of reports of scents that are real stand outs for drawing compliments. To ensure reliable data, I limited the count to posts that were from men who owned at least 10 different colognes and had found one or a few of them to be exceptional in their ability to draw compliments.

I also used artificial intelligence to search information on the most highly rated clones or versions of the complement drawing scents. The table below presents the results of these wide ranging internet searches. You will find the number and percent of mentions for each cologne or each scent and the price of the original and the price of two different highly rated clones the clones are rated for degree of similarity judged by mini reviewers and average.

Any version or clone that is 90% or higher in being identical to the original can only be distinguished from the original by a very trained person. Most people will be completely unable to tell the difference at 90% or higher identity. Even at 85% to 90% identical smell most people will have a very similar response to the original.

The originals tend to be 5 to 20 times as expensive as the clones. It is important not to buy versions or clones without a real knowledge of how identical they are because many of them are not close at all. In fact some clones or versions of wonderful scents are actually terrible and you will want to wash them off right away.
